The following information relates to a current vacancy at BCA: Administration & Communications Officer (Sydney).
BCA is seeking an experienced and highly motivated person with significant administration experience in the not-for-profit sector to contribute to our team.
The successful applicant will work from our Sydney office (located in the western suburbs of Sydney). We encourage applications from people who are blind or vision impaired, Aboriginal people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Applications are invited for the position of Administration and Communications Officer, at 25 hours per week for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Desirably you will be able to work 5 days per week for 5 hours per day. Final working arrangements will be negotiated with the successful candidate. Salary will be based on experience and salary sacrificing is available. A probation period of 3 months will apply.
As Administration & Communications Officer, you will provide an effective and efficient administration and communications resource to BCA’s Sydney office and assist the organisation in any other appropriate manner. An important requirement of the role is to maintain ongoing effective relationships with members of Blind Citizens New South Wales (BCNSW), which merged with BCA in December 2017.
